isn't one without something to eat!
the Creative Cookie recipe for this month is this
mouth-watering shortbread cookie -
Colorful and great in taste -

"POP-Culture" COoKie Recipe
230g unsalted butter, softened
250g castor sugar
2 x egg yolks
10ml vanilla extract
2-3 cups cake flour
2ml salt
45ml milk
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Line baking trays with wax paper
Beat the butter and castor sugar in a bowl until smooth and creamy,
add the egg yolks and vanilla and mix for another minute, scraping down the sides to
incorporate all the ingredients.
Sift together the flour and salt
Add 1 cup of flour and the milk and mix, then add remaining flour
Mix until combined into a dough and set aside for approx 20 min
Roll the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and cut out with cookie cutters
of your choice. Place on the baking trays and bake for 12-15 min or until golden brown.
Cookies must be completely cooled down before putting icing on.
Royal Icing
2 Egg White
10ml Lemon Juice
5ml Vanilla Essence
3 Cups Sifted Icing Sugar
Mix together egg whites, lemon juice and vanilla.
Add the icing sugar bit by bit until fully incorporated.
Add food colouring of choice and use piping bag or
plastic bag with tip cut off to pipe your design on cookie.
Leave for 2 to 3 hours to set hard.
(Keep cookies in an airtight container).
