Waterproof Principle 35

“Everywhere you go, you always take the weather with you” Crowded House

Every year around my birthday, I look at my life, what I have learnt and then I document it on this blog. So…here’s what stood out that I would like to celebrate and also work or focus on growing into, in the years to come.

In my quest to build and create a positive legacy, firstly in and outside my home, one that resonates into generations to come, it will be met with challenges…

· Not everyone will share your vision or support you in it
· Some people will judge you, when they really know nothing    (just like that guy, John Snow)
· Some people will criticize you
· Some people will make ‘soul-killing’ remarks disguised as jokes
· Some people will continually de-motivate you and bombard you with    ‘negative news’
· Some poeple will gossip and discuss you behind your back instead of     talking to you
· Some people will project their pre-conceived ideas, hurt …

Graffiti Artist, Souler

NationInspiration caught up with SOULER. A Graffiti Artist from Gautemala. When he is not being a Doctor you will find him sharing his passion with the world through a spray can.

1. Hi Souler, please tell us more about yourself.
Hello, I am Emanuel Orozco AKA Souler, Christian graffiti artist from Guatemala. I was born in a little town called San Pedro Sacatepéquez. I am the 3rd of 4 brothers and live in Guatemala City. About my talent? Mmmm....well when I was a kid I used to see my older brother drawing, he was really good at it! He drew a lot of cartoons which I was really inspired by and I wanted to do the same. I also started to sketch cartoons, pretty much in an anime style. The years passed by and I had to move to the city, you know...to start university. Besides my love for cartoons I wanted to be a Doctor.
Here in the city I met a friend (named An3 from the church) he looked at my sketchbook then he took his phone and showed me some graffiti photos, it was here that I fell in l…

1. Vertel ons lesers asseblief meer van jouself
Ek is Elandré, 'n 'kleindorp-dromer' van Despatch. Ek is 21 en 'n kunstenaar. Ek luister nou meer Bruce Springsteen as my ma.

Liefde is Tuis

Julle sal my nie glo nie! Die storie brand nou al 'n ruk-lank in my hart!

Little Fighters

SA muso appeals to SA to help raise funds for Little Fighters Cancer Trust

Johannesburg – The final training stages are underway before local SA artist, Garth Taylor, will get into the boxing ring in an effort to raise funds for the Little Fighters Cancer Trust. While most people know Garth Taylor for his chart-topping radio hits, few know that he is an avid fitness fanatic and that kickboxing is his second passion (in fact, he won the SA Amateur Kickboxing Champion in the Lightweight Category in 2014). September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness month and is apt for the upcoming event, where Garth will take part in the White Collar Boxing 19 event at Scarlet Ribbon in Modderfontein on 15 September 2017.

“I lost my sister to cancer. Having watched what she went through as an adult fighting this disease, I can only image how much worse it is for children to be fighting this battle,” comments Garth on why he has chosen to work with the Little Fighters Cancer Trust. “I figured, how bad …

Charmaine Hurter

Goeie dag almal. Ek is Charmaine Hurter.

My voltydse werk is huisvrou, of soos vele daarvan hou: tuisteskepper. Ek maak skoon, was wasgoed, kook gesonde kos (meestal) en tuisskool my jongste seun. Dit alles maak my lewe vol, maar daar is 2 dinge in die lewe wat my inspireer, my passie is, my maak opstaan in die oggende.

#1 is my hart vir stukkende kindertjies. Ek help graag by ons plaaslike kinderhuis en gee Sondagskool elke week. My roeping is om vir soveel as moontlik kinders daarbuite Vader se liefde te wys en dit breek my hart om te sien hoeveel klein mensies geen identiteit het nie. Geen selfvertroue, geen liefde...
#2 natuurlik is koeke bak en versier. Da…
