Waterproof Principle 34 - Persevere

Persevere

When I started this adventure, almost 5 years ago, all my posts were studies and reflections on life principles.

One principle for every birthday.

So now, I don't know if that was such a good idea. Lots of people will now know my age. (Hehehe!...Guess I'm taking one for the team).

I remember saying to myself that if one person out there, somewhere, should happen to read the posts and be encouraged by it, that I would continue writing. It would be worth it.
Deep stuff nê.

Well, Ok, if that one person is your mother then you kind of feel like, ok aaaannnyone else except my mother, if anyone ELSE reads it then I'll continue to write....

My husband, sister, mother, some family members and friends were always reading my posts and supporting me in what I was doing. So I kept writing and the support kept growing.

Thanks to all the somebodies, especially hubby, mommy and sussie, that were not out there somewhere, but somewhere in here❤️. Thanks for supporting me and your continued love and support. Also to all the new readers and friends.

Imagining we are musketeers...or maybe star war heroes. All of us, our gifts and talents, are like the swords/weapons we can USE to crush the mundane of normal that is "killing us softly" - wherever we may be.

When I was worked into a corner (literally, my previous office desk was in a corner - at some point), studying God's principles and writing creatively was my weapon of choice.
The pen really is a sword.

Fight off the boring.
Fight off that negative vibe of insignificance.
The color and joy we allow into our lives are mostly because of a change we decided to make or an adventure we decided to embark on.

It requires one to move in faith.
It requires one to work in faith.
Change and color will meet you in the field.

So on this very day.
Another birthday.
The principle I would like to share is to
"build in faith and to persevere."

Yes, we will get tired.
Yes, we will encounter nasty vibes and certain uncertainties.

Do not give up!
Win by keeping your eye on the Prize.
The Author and Finisher of our faith.

Keep doing what you are, wholeheartedly, convinced you were born to do!
The light will break through when the time is right.

Let's Start and End with Love, in the highs and lows.
Let us not forget Who gave us life and Who it is all really about.

James 1:12
Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.

Die klippie in my skoen - geskryf deur iskra

Pfffeeeu...! (Talk about rubbing me up the wrong way!) Hoe gaan jy hierdie maand daardie rekening betaal? Jou huwelik of 'n vriendskap is dalk op 'n snaakse plek of selfs naby skipbreek?

#Bakgat Gesondheidsbeskuit

As ek nie bv.

Ek het, 'after all', 4 kinders. Jip 4. Bid asb vir my. Ek onthou my Juffrou se boodskap in my handtekening boekie van Graad 7 "Bly altyd so vriendelik en lewenslustig".......
