Our THEME is FAMILY! "If you want to change the world, go home and love your family." - Mother Theresa
So in the spirit of family and building lasting connections in the home, we would like to suggest a few hikes you can take :) to make memories and enjoy the beautiful treasure chest the Garden Route is. Put your phone down, shut all the electronics off (Maybe not Everything - if you get lost...that would be problematic :)
Just step out and enjoy the great outdoors with the ones you love.
What some of the locals are saying:
George and Craddock Peaks
"You can walk this in a day! Not for beginners, steep and tiring, but beautiful views to the dam. About 2 hours (there and back, around 4 hours total)"
- James Kaufmann
"In the mountains, wonderful and has the best views over the greater George area." - Werner Stoffels
"Also from George Botanical Gardens up to the old dam, a bit of an uphill, not a long walk. Very peaceful, awesome views of the whole George.
WARNING: Just be on the lookout for snakes. Best be safe when choosing this trail, rather go in a big group with strong men then going alone or just one or two people." - Carl Richter
Gericke's Point Beach Walk, Sedgefield
"A Low tide walk, not too far, amazing views." - Carl Richter
Groeneweide Hiking Trail
"There are three trails. 9km, 11km, 13km. Clearly marked trails and beautiful experience through the bush." - Beyers en Caren Botha
But wait, there's more!
